My why

My Why

I am Ronald Eddington, an author, motivational speaker, life coach, and dedicated follower of Jesus Christ. Drawing from a rich background in law enforcement, private investigation, and customer service analysis for a major airline, my journey is a tapestry woven with diverse experiences and anchored by unwavering faith.

About me

About Me

At 52 years young, I bring a wealth of life experience and a deep commitment to our community. Here's a snapshot of my journey:

  • Native Arkansan with a heart for service
  • Served as a Bailiff for Judge Rita Gruber in Pulaski County, Arkansas for 7 impactful years
  • Played a pivotal role in Arkansas's first-ever juvenile jury trial
  • Proudly served as a police officer in Arkansas for 4 years, making significant arrests including individuals potentially linked to the Oklahoma City Bombing, as noted by the ATF
  • During high school, mentored by attending city council meetings and shadowing the mayor
  • Actively engaged in ministry, particularly in youth development
  • Made a move to Texas in 2005, where I transitioned into private investigation, specializing in workers' compensation cases and holding licenses in Texas, Oklahoma, Utah, and New Mexico
  • Also served as a process server in Texas
  • Currently residing in the vibrant community of Stanley, NC since August 31, 2021
  • Employed as a Customer Service Analyst for a major airline, where I conduct audits and identify opportunities for cost-saving measures at major HUBS along the east coast and Chicago
  • Appointed to the Gaston County Parks and Recreations Advisory Board for the Riverbend Township on August 22, 2023
  • Serving on the Stanley Planning Board and Board of Adjustments since October 4, 2021, with a special appointment as chairman for specific requests, including the Community Charter School and J P Stevens Mill rezoning
  • Contributed to the 2020 Town of Stanley Comprehensive Land Use Plan as a panel member
  • Engaged in community initiatives, such as assisting a local blind baseball player, Justin Holland, and spearheading the Arbordale community on Nextdoor.com, fostering neighborly connections and coordinating neighborhood events
  • Dedicated to helping individuals correct errors on their credit reports, facilitating improved job opportunities, housing, transportation, insurance rates, and overall financial well-being.

Throughout the chapters of my life, I've steadfastly dedicated myself to making a positive impact, serving as a catalyst for change not just in my community but for everyone, everywhere.
